About Training and Placement Cell

The Training and Placement Cell plays a crucial role in scouting for and locating job opportunities for the young graduates and post graduates passing out from the college by keeping cordial relationship with reputed industries. The cell functions under the supervision of full time placement officers and operates the entire year to arrange training and skill development programs to students by experts from industries. The cell interacts with reputed organizations and arranges campus interviews to final year students. The Department placement coordinators assist the cell during campus interviews and training programs. The cell also plays a very crucial role in counseling and guiding the students to become as successful entrepreneurs.

Placement Actitivities

All the students are trained in the following areas:

The major functions of the Training and Placement Cell involve:
  • Planning and organizing campus as well as off-campus selection activities.
  • Inviting specialists to address students on self-enhancement, confidence building, etc.
  • Conducting Individual Development Programme on regular basis to the students of II year to final year course of all branches. This deals with soft skill development, Personality Development, etc.
  • Organizing Aptitude Tests to students through the respective departments.
  • Conducting GDs, Mock Interviews, etc., to prepare the students to face interviews.

The students are provided with quality training so as to be readily deployable by the industries and to meet the growing demand for trained man-power in the intrinsic competitive knowledge industry. Apart from the regular curriculum, we aim to fill the gaps between the industry's expectations and the individual's caliber by devising Value Added programs, Placement Workshops, Soft skills Training, personality Development programs etc. Nearly 170 hours of training is given to all students as part of campus placement training program. The Training and Placement cell activities are carried out by a team of Faculty Co-ordinators and Student Co-ordinators from every branch of the institute.
