TAGORE

Southern Educational and Rural Development Society was incepted in the year1986, with a pioneering zeal and a philanthropic commitment. With Strenuous efforts, Tagore Matriculation Higher Secondary School was inaugurated in the same year. To cater to the needs of students, Tagore Higher Secondary School with state board syllabus was established in year 2000. The thirst for educational services further motivated the society to establish Tagore college of Education in the year 2006. Above 5000 students and more than 300 staff members are the current inputs of the Institutions. Establishment of Tagore Institute of Engineering and Technology is another feather in the cap of the Society. The Institution aims to impart Training to the students so that they become competent and motivated Engineers and Scientists. The Institute celebrates freedom of thought, cultivates vision and encourages growth, but also inculcates human values and ethics for the society.
